Territory Sales Rep

Superior Turf Services has been in the Green Industry since 1999.  A family owned and operated business, we serve Golf, Sports Turf and Lawn Care Operators.  The products we represent include fertilizers, plant protectants, seed, and accessories. We cover Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Northern Iowa. We are looking for a motivated person to join our team and expand the distribution of our products.

• Requirements:

• ·        Background in turf management, ideally in golf or sports turf
• ·        Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• ·        Ability to organize and work independently with minimal daily oversight
• ·        Practical working knowledge in the green industry
• ·        Ability to determine needs of your customers and work independently to meet those needs  
• ·        Basic competency in computer use & programs – excel, word, pdf, google docs & sheets, email, quick books, etc.
• ·        Ability to understand and write agronomic programs for a wide variety of turf managers
• ·        Familiarity with Superior Turf products preferred
• ·        Physical ability to lift up to 75lb
• ·        Good driving record
• ·        Sales experience preferred

• Responsibilities:

• ·        Provide service forward sales & support to customers in determined sales territory, seeing existing and potential customers with regularity as determined by the needs of the customer.              
• ·        Participate in state and national trade shows
• ·        Contribute to the overhead needs and direction of the company thru regular communication and company sales meetings
• ·        Operate & maintain company vehicle
• ·        Work respectfully & collaboratively with a small team of motivated coworkers
