Once again the MGCSA is offering a fun and socially distanced outdoor networking activity.  On September 15th the Association will host The Shootout  at Game Unlimited just across the St. Croix River in beautiful Hudson, Wisconsin.

Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting, often described as "golf with a shotgun" because a typical course includes from 10 to 15 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain.  Although the sport is challenging, it is quite popular with novice shooters and ordinary hunters. While many shooters opt for expensive double-barreled shotguns, the game is equally enjoyable with an inexpensive pump-action shotgun or autoloading (semiautomatic) shotgun. need to bring your own gun and shells, 100 for the 50 station course in case you miss your first shot. If you are shooting 12-gauge lead shot, you are limited to a maximum of 1 1/8-ounce load. Shot size must be between 7 1/2 and 9.

Make a team or sign up as a single and Jack will place you with a group.

Cost of the day is $50 per person and includes one round of 50 targets, a box lunch/bottled water and awards to medalist, first place team, second place team and last place team.  The purse will be dependent upon number of participants.  The MGCSA reserves the right to modify the purse based on number of participants.

You are responsible for your own gun and shells.
